Apurbo Zunaid awarded for his photography arranged by Samsung
A photography competition was organized by Samsung Mobile Bangladesh on the occasion of the inauguration of the Padma Multipurpose Bridge. A large number of pictures were submitted to the competition from June 27 to July 15. Samsung fans from different parts of the country came to see the Padma Bridge and took pictures of the bridge- a symbol of Bangladesh's pride. Then they submitted them according to the conditions. After the verification of the submitted pictures, the turn of awarding the winners started from September 6.
Apurba Zunaid, a young amateur photographer, won this award in the first phase. Apurbo is the elder son of Minister of State for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak. Both his parent are very excited on receiving his award. The state minister and his wife have also posted on social media to share the child's success with everyone.
In her Facebook status, Apurbo Zunaid’s mother, wife of Hon'ble State Minister Arifa Jasmine Kanika wrote- “Padma bridge digital photo contest was organized by Samsung. My elder son shared the picture of Padma Bridge captured by his Samsung mobile. His photo was selected and got the award. Congratulations and best wishes to dear Apurbo Baba. Please, pray for him so that he can become a good person."
The state minister later shared his wife's status on his profile and captioned it - "Prayers and best wishes." Earlier, Apurbo won gold medal in Walton National School & College Taekwondo Competition 2019. He also wrote a book called ‘Our Life’. The book contains six English and three Bengali poems.
